November: Still Riding
The foliage was particularly vibrant this year but the colors are fading fast and the temperature is dropping from day to day. We have already had many nights with temperatures below freezing, and although the days warm up a bit there's no denying that more cold riding is in the offing. But the change to winter conditions is gradual enough that the body is given a bit of time to adjust, or at least I like to think so.
The stats:
Rides for the month: 28 (two sick days)
Rides for the year: 262
Kilometers for the month: 493
Kilometers for the year: 5,693 - and hopefully 6,000 by the end of December. An average of 10 km a day in December shouldn't be too hard, should it? It will all depend on the weather. If it continues like the first day of December, a slushy mix of snow and rain, I'm not so sure.
And now for the photos
