A short month, just 30 days and very few rides. Some medical stuff (a biopsy and an operation) kept me off my bike for several days and a trip to Italy's Lake Garda without our bikes meant another week's pause. On the days I could ride, the weather was fine, for cycling anyway. The farmers would have liked more rain.

 I regretted particularly that I had to spend some days in the hospital and resting after my operation during these fleeting days of early spring. Day by day the trees showed more green. Spring is the most exciting time of year for me and I hate it that it passes so quickly.

I rode 231 km on nine days, bringing the year's total up to 1,393 km.
