We are in Spain and Portugal all month and have plans to ride with our friend Susan at the beginning and later with Rachael and Scott. Although much chillier than we had expected, the spring flowers and countryside were beautiful. The ride itself was cut short due to two factors: Janos' bike broke down and I got a serious intestinal infection. It was a pity because the cycling as long as it lasted was fantastic on roads with almost no traffic.
