August: Still summer, but not for long
Our last real summer month, August, has passed way too fast. September certainly has some lovely days in store for us, but the days are getting shorter and the evenings are cooler, there is no denying it.
As for cycling, I was a little disappointed with my mileage this month. There were too many sick days, as well as a couple of days where other commitments had priority (I do have a life aside from cycling). We also had some dreadfully rainy days and a couple of scorchers - they didn't keep me off my bike, but I didn't go far.
So here are the stats:

- Days on my bike - only 20. I even rode on more days in frosty February.
- Total distance for the month: 508 km
- Total distance for the year so far: 3,965 km
