What a month - icy cold and balmy warm. The last day of the year we had 19C! Better than some summer days. After two weeks of ice and snow and below freezing temperatures, we got a streak of föhn days, pleasant temperatures for riding. As pretty as the snow was to look at, I think I could dispense with winter. Or else emigrate to a milder clime. Not likely.
I am 35 km short of 6,000 km for the year but that darned snow kept me off my bike as I approached the goal. A few hospital stays this year also grounded me for too many days. Nevertheless, I am satisfied with this year's cycling and look forward to good cycling days in 2023.
