After a very cold April, spring still seemed to be ever so reticent about making its appearance - and May was its last chance. Then finally came the green explosion - the leaves budded and the blossoms bloomed. It was a windy, stormy month with some dramatic skies but not always comfortable on the bike. I ended up riding on 22 days and walked on only two days.
