Sárvár day 1: A poke around town
Wednesday June 26, 2013
The sun came out often but a cold wind was blowing all day. We limited ourselves to poking around the little town of Sárvár. We walked around the castle gardens but were too late to see the interior, we'll save that for another day. We also visited the aboretum, an impressive park due to its variety and very old trees. The park was founded by Ferdinánd Habsburg who took over the castle at Sárvár and the management of the estate in 1803, which dates some of the trees as being over 200 years old.

Aside from shopping, cooking and eating, we also spent time in the hot pools, a very laid back day.
