April: Staying Close to Home

A month of mostly beautiful spring weather, but we don't have the choice of where to ride. We ride loops and out-and-backs, connecting up different sections of the available roads and trails near home. Although we miss being able to take off heading for distant horizons, riding within a limited radius hasn't been all bad. We are exploring smaller trails and nooks and crannies that we wouldn't have bothered about before, and there is always something new to discover.

As you can see in my pictures, the month started out in shades of brown and finished in full blown green. What a transformation within a few short weeks.
