Limping in the Rain: Innsbruck

What I didn't mention in my account of yesterday: At some point in the late afternoon I jumped on my bike, which I had unwittingly left in a high gear, and stomped on the pedals, thinking to be off in a flash. The sudden impact wasn't good for my knee. It was sore yesterday and is worse today. Staying in the hotel is boring so I hobble around Innsbruck in the rain and look at the sights, Janos patiently taking baby steps at my side.

Even walking slowly around Innsbruck is too much for my knee. We spend the afternoon in our room, eat chocolate and do sudokus. And wonder what we will do tomorrow, the day we intended to conquer the Brenner.
