To the Mountains

Golden October is what it is called - these beautiful fall days when you know that winter is approaching and every ray of sunshine counts. We decided to drive to Munich's "Hausberg", the most popular and closest mountain, just 70 kilometers south of Munich. Janos is still recovering from a bad cold but we hoped a ride in the car and then the cableway up the mountain wouldn't be too much.

The views of the Karwendel mountain range and Walchensee were stunning. We snapped a few pictures and walked the short distance to the Berggasthaus for lunch.
